New Year's Resolution Party Ideas

Last year if you made a 365 day commitment just to see it through for 30 days then you are what I like to call a " Resolution Flop-Out."  However, succeeding this year is possible if you follow these tips:

Have a Resolution party and invite all of your friends who have made commitments.  Each of you share your resolutions as a group and you all vow to support one another to the end.  For the 1st month (Jan) the group gets together once a week at a different friends home and give updates on your individual progress.  This month is fairly easy since motivation is high.  The 2nd month (Feb) the group meets every other week for updates.  You will start to see who is turning into a "Resolution Flop-Out" during this time and will need to strongly support your struggling counterparts.  The 3rd month (Mar) the group will only need to meet once a month for the duration of the year for continued updates and encouragement in staying committed.  Hosting monthly "Resolution Parties" is an exciting way for fellowship with friends, staying focused on your goal and showing off the results of whatever your 365 day commitment brought you.  Start each party with a celebratory toast, your favorite snacks, music and games and end knowing that you are not going to be the next "Resolution Flop-Out."
